When attempting to add a Huawei FusionCompute platform to the backup system, the addition failed with the following error message:

Issue Description

This issue occurs due to the security and permission mechanisms of the Huawei FusionCompute platform. A specific northbound account is required.

Resolution

  1. Create a Northbound Account in Huawei FusionCompute
  2. Add the Platform in Vinchin using the Northbound Account
