Failover Job failed with 500030 notfify agent to execute error

Question

After the takeover began, the error "20#Socket connect error]: agent link detection error occurs." appeared, followed by "#500030 Notiffy agent to execute". It was found that the standby machine had restarted and reverted to the original machine's interface, but the IP had not been taken over. The standby machine was assigned a random IP. Several takeover attempts were made, but all reported agent connection issues.

Answer

Issue Description

The original machine's IP had indeed floated over to the standby machine as normal. However, the boot order during the standby machine's restart after takeover was incorrect. It should have booted from the disk first, then from the CDROM. 

Resolution

Create a new empty standby machine without an operating system installed, adjust the boot order to: disk > CDROM, mount WinPE to the standby machine, and rebuild the task.
