Windows Server 2019 snapshot creation failed with #3782 KVM H3C Error: create VM snapshot error

Question

Adding H3C CAS R0790P06 via CVD mode, backup job for Windows 2019 Server failed with the below error but the other VMs on the same host can be backed up normally, and manual snapshot creation for this problematic VM works fine on H3C CAS platform.

Issue Description

The failure occurs because the target VM is already protected by the native backup feature of H3C CAS platform, which causes conflict with Vinchin snapshot operation.

Resolution

Remove this VM from the native VM protection task on H3C CAS platform, then the Vinchin backup job can run successfully.If the issue isn't solved after the operation, please contact vinchin support for help.
