Backup Server with error #20

Question

When backing up server, job failed with [#20]Socket connection error, please check backup agent installation on the host and network connection from host to backup server.

• Agent installation

1.Go to Resources>Infrastructure>Agent & Proxy page to check if the agent is online.

2.The recommended way is Client to Server, both methods can be tried.

• Network Connection between vinchin and server

1.Go to System>System Settings>System Tools>Network Tools to use Ping and Telnet to test the network and the port connection from vinchin to server .

2.For Server to Client method, needs to connect the agent server on port 23100.
