Cooperativa Agroindustrial Bom Jesus (Cooperativa Bom Jesus) has been providing comprehensive agricultural production services to over 5,500 members in more than 30 municipalities in the southeastern region of Paraná and the northern plateau of Santa Catarina, Brazil since 1952. Tradition, respect, and ongoing evolution have always been upheld by the organization as core values.
Brazil, dubbed the "breadbasket of the world," had over 1,500 agricultural cooperatives with 1 million members in 2020, providing 50 percent of the nation's food supply. An agricultural cooperative plays a significant part in furnishing members with advanced agricultural equipment and technology, distribution channels, farm management, legal assistance, and legislation lobby.
