How to add Local Directory as a storage resource?

Local directory allows you to add a local filesystem path on Vinchin backup server/node as a storage resource.
Follow the steps below to add local directory as a storage resource:
On Resources -> Storage screen, click on Add button.
In Storage Type dropdown list, select Local Directory.
In Node IP/Domain dropdown list, select the target node which you wish the storage to be added.
In Directory Path field, type in the path which will be used as the storage resource, e.g.
/mnt/backup
.Choose the Storage Objective from Backup, Backup Copy and Backup Archive. This will determine for which purpose the storage will be used.
Optionally configure the storage Name and Storage Alert.
Click on OK button to add the local directory as a storage resource.
If the directory contains old backups, you will see a popup dialog asking whether to import the backups or not.
Note:
Local directory is not a recommended way of adding a storage resource, only if the directory you are going to add which has sufficient space or an external storage device had been mounted to it.
