question Answer

Server backup is an agent-based backup, it can be used for both Virtual machine and Physical machine. Especially Physical server and Personal computer can use this function to backup your system disk and data disk.

VM backup is an image-based agentless backup for Virtual machines on different virtual platform. You just need to authenticate the virtual platform on Vinchin Backup & Recovery and then go through backup jobs.

Both of two backup methods support partition-level backup, which means data disks can be selected and excluded when create a backup job.
