Kahve Diyari A.S started their business in Turkey in 2005, producing all kinds of coffee, cake, ice cream, bakery products and desserts. Without compromising high quality of the products, they reached the level of more than 120 franchise venues in 48 provinces, hosting pleasant moments of guests at every corner of Turkey. The company continued to grow and has earned the distinction of "Most reliable and well-known local chain brand of the year in Turkey" from national economy magazines.

Gearing up for the growth of the brand, Kahve Diyari chose to virtualize their main IT infrastructure on VMware to replace traditional physical servers several years ago for improved system availability and lower maintenance cost. The company’s VMware VMs run file servers, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and Point-of-Sale (POS) applications to support day-to-day business operations. The lack of stability of ICT infrastructure will spell huge trouble to the company’s daily work routine that connects closely with customer experience, and that’s why IT team from the IT Director always put backup and disaster recovery as one of the top priorities.

In the past, Kahve Diyari used a backup solution for automated VMware VM backup in their IT environment.
