What is VM Granular Restore and under which circumstances this feature is useful?

question Answer

Granular restore is an important feature which can be used to restore VMs from file-level. As in most cases the common failures are files, databases and application data being accidentally deleted. Under such circumstances, restoring an entire VM seems unnecessary, instead, restoring the critical files would be more efficient.

Vinchin Backup & Recovery supports granular restore of Windows and Linux VMs from any full, incremental and differential backups. Users can browse the file system of the VM from within Vinchin Backup & Recovery web UI, and can download the desired files or folders which can be used to be restored to the original VMs.
