Can I restore VMs directly with the backup copy data or backup archive data?
Answer
It depends on where the data is stored.
If you are using local copy/archive storage, then you can use the copy/archive data to restore VMs directly.
If you are using offsite copy or cloud archive storage, then you need to create a copy/archive retrieve job to retrieve the copy/archive data to onsite storage first, then use the retrieved data to restore VMs.
