The long history of Rosamonte as a mate tea producer goes back to 1936 when the company founder, Mr. Demetrio HREÑUK started a family business of yerba mate (Ilex Paraguariensis). As the years passed, the company was transformed and expanded its activities of production, manufacturing, and selling to other economic sectors, adding aquaculture, cattle-raising, forestry, and packing factories.
