Vinchin supports agentless backup for Citrix Hypervisor VM and you can use the backup to restore Citrix Hypervisor VM or perform V2V migration.

Installation & Configuration

You can get the installation package on the download page and then install it on a virtual machine or physical machine.

After that, upload the license that we send to you in the email.

Add backup storage before creating a backup job.

Host Adding:

Before adding the host, you need to install a plugin on the Citrix Hypervisor host.

The steps to download and install the plugin can be found in HelpCenter.

Then you can add the Citrix Hypervisor host with its credentials.

Backup Citrix Hypervisor VM:

After adding the Citrix Hypervisor host, you can create a backup task in 4 steps.

Select the Citrix Hypervisor VMs you want to backup.
Choose backup storage.
Set the backup policy.
Submit the task.

Restore Citrix Hypervisor VM:

When you need to restore a Citrix Hypervisor VM, just select the restore point in the system and create a restore job in 4 steps.

Select the restore point from Citrix Hypervisor backup data
Select the target host
Select strategies or just skip it
Submit the job

Except for full VM restore, you can also use it to perform granular restore to quickly extract file from it or instant restore to quickly recover a failed VM.
