Error 282: Failed to Create Snapshot for VM 'HostedEngine'

Hi everyone,

I'm using oVirt virtualization environment. When trying to create a snapshot for the VM 'HostedEngine', it fails.

Error log as follows:

Creating VM 'HostedEngine' snapshot error,[#282]HTTP 400 ERROR: incorrect request format

What could be the reason? How to resolve it? Thanks!

it looks so hard

oVirt itself does not allow snapshots of management nodes, so it cannot provide backups.

Quentin What methods are available for backing up the management node?
