I’ve encountered the same error before. In my case the cause was:
Root Cause:
Encryption was enabled during task creation, but the encryption password was left empty.
Error Details:
This leads to
- invalid parameter and
- encrypt backup data error
- during the backup process.
Solution:
Set a password for data encryption, or enable the “random password” option.
This issue has been fixed in version 8.0, so upgrading will prevent it from happening again.
