OLVM Backup Fails When Using a Different Network Segment

My OLVM environment has three NICs (10.10.10.xx, 100.100.100.xx, 192.168.123.xx). When I select another subnet for data transfer during backup, the task fails. The log shows:

	○ ERROR:241#Curl Error: failed to sending network data]: do Get operation error, ip: 192.168.123.112, username: admin@internal. backup_server 
	○ [ERROR:241#Curl Error: failed to sending network data]: do HTTP GET operation to get snapshot info error, 
faied to open INBD ERR NETWORK CONNECT. (backup_client)

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Miles Thanks everyone! I’ve checked some docs and finally solved it — just needed to set the transmission network to 192.168.123.xx, and the backup task ran successfully afterward.

Graham Ellington Wow, glad you figured it out! 😅 I’ve run into similar issues before when OLVM has multiple NICs — network selection can be tricky. Setting the correct transmission network usually does the trick. Thanks for sharing your solution!
