Help! CentOS VM goes to Dracut after moving from VMware to Hyper-V

Hello,

I'm trying to migrate a CentOS VM from VMware to Hyper-V using our backup system (v7.2.0). The restore completes, but the VM won't boot - it gets bricked and drops into Dracut Emergency Mode.

I've attached the error log.

Any ideas what's causing this? Most likely it's a driver or filesystem issue, but I'm looking for confirmed fixes. Thanks!

You may encounter repair failure error codes. If error codes appear or after a reboot, you'll need to consult second-line support to determine whether to select the first option to boot or enter recovery mode.

Fault Cause:
The system reports that /dev/centos/swap or /dev/mapper/centos-root does not exist.
• Solution:

Select the second option when starting the virtual machine to enter repair mode:
Log in to the virtual machine:
Navigate to the /boot directory and locate the repair image file shown in the diagram:
Repair using the dracut repair tool and reboot: dracut -f imgFile. This step may take a long time to complete; wait for it to finish.
