Can't Backup Proxmox VM Due to ZFS Space Issue

Hello everyone,

I encountered an error while trying to back up a Proxmox VM and would appreciate some help understanding the issue. Here's the error message I received:

[ERROR: 46#Task failed]: execute task error, err_msg: zfs error: cannot create snapshot 'PIO-REP/vm-114-disk-0@bk_0777f0a9-51fd-4bfe-80c7-077bff1654f8': out of space , task_id: UPID:PM-N04:002546FF:011AC0BD:6733585B:qmsnapshot:114:root@pam:. ../vm_server/kvm/kvm_proxmox_control_operation.cpp: 4798, WaitTaskFinished

It seems like the backup failed due to a lack of space when trying to create a ZFS snapshot. Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

For context, I’m using Proxmox with ZFS storage. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

All that should be required is to clean up the production storage space and re-run the backup, I guess.
