Trouble with Hyper-V Backup

Hey everyone,

I’m having some trouble backing up a Hyper-V virtual machine and keep running into errors. Here’s what the log shows:

[WARN: 4213#get vm's configure information error]: Task<84981784-0be4-46a4-9025-129595048bed> create snapshot error.

[ERROR: 4213#get vm's configure information error]: Task<84981784-0be4-46a4-9025-129595048bed> incremental backup prepare error, vm name: xxxxxxxx

The VM in question is named xxxxxxxx. Has anyone encountered something like this before or have ideas what might be causing these errors? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can try these two methods:

Uninstall the Hyper-V host agent and do not back up the Hyper-V host itself.
Stagger the backup tasks to avoid snapshot conflicts caused by simultaneous backups.
