I’d recommend keeping daily incrementals for 7 days, and weekly full backups for 4–8 weeks.
For long-term retention, monthly fulls can be archived to tape or cloud storage. 🔒
That way you balance speed, storage, and recovery options well.

My setup's pretty similar:
Weekly full backups (weekends) + Daily incrementals (nights).

Might also start archiving monthly fulls to cold storage. Appreciate the insight! 🙌
