Hello! I have a question, maybe I didn't find the information. When restoring VM Hyper-v, it offers me the recovery path only logical disks (C:, D:, E,), but I need to specify a specific path, for example, "D:\Restore_VM", how do I do this?

Hi Alexander,

Nice to meet you.

Current Vinchin will specify target Disk(C:, D:, etc) and automatically create a <VinchinRecovered> folder in this Disk, maybe this is helpful for your requirement(specify target folder).

And also you can move this folder to other path manually if needed. Attached an example for your reference:

Hello! Thank you for your answer. I will give an example of why I would like to specify the recovery path myself, for example, when using a cluster shared volume on a hyper-v server, if I specify the C: drive, there may not be enough space on it for recovery. But if I specify "C:\ClusterStorage\Volume1" there will be enough space, since this is a LUN SAN connected via ISCSI. I would like the developers to take this into account and add this feature in future versions of VINCHIN.
