  • I got the error: #3803 VMware server refused connection error

I have installed Vinchin server withour any error, and add vCenter as well.

But when I create the backup job, it have below issue.

I'm using vCenter administrator@vpshere.local to get connected.

also, I configured the DNSlookup on vinchin side, like below:

I've checked the connection I can ping to the vcenter and esxi, seems connection is fine. I also haven't seen any documentation about this issue.

If here anybody can check it or have the same situation? Please help me to solve this.

Thanks~

    Hello Caspian Wilde

    The error message: #3803 VMware server refused connection error root cause is connection issue between Vinchin and vCenter.

    As we can see you can add vCenter into Vinchin web console;
    can create VM backup job, but the error happens after Run Log 'Transferring backup data of VM 'xxx' on disk 'xxxxxx/.vmdk', which means when Vinchin start to transfer data from vCenter to Vinchin got this error.

    So, it may be affected by the ports: 443 & 902
    Because you can add it, the port of 443 is enabled, but cannot transferring data, therefore, should check vCenter/ESXi 902 port.
