Mianyang Central Hospital (MCH) which was founded in 1939, insisting on the values of "Advocating life and science" and the hospital spirit of "Kindness, Sincerity, Dedication, Innovation", is a three- grade general hospital that bases on clinical medicine and health management, and integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, emergency first aid and disaster medicine, being the medical center in the northwestern region of Sichuan Province.

MCH has 28 functional departments, 47 professional disciplines, 1500 open beds, more than 2.16 million annual outpatient services and more than 96000 annual inpatient services. With the continuous expansion of business and the transition to digital hospital, traditional backup solution can no longer efficiently backup and restore massive data to guarantee the hospital daily business continuity.
