INVEX Controladora, a business group founded in Mexico, enjoys over 30 years’experience in offering specialized financing and investment solutions to investors and companies with 8 branch offices in Mexico City, Miami, Guadalajara and other cities. Composed of INVEX Energy, INVEX Capital, INVEX International and other 3 departments, INVEX owns 1 billion pesos worth of (over $50m) stockholders' equity and loan portfolio respectively.
Having divisions of Private Banking, Business Banking, Trust, Cards and Leasing and Infrastructure, INVEX transformed its physical servers into vitalization systems on XenServer for spacious storage and greater security. For such huge amount of data, INVEX wants a solution that could be managed centrally without frequent human intervention.“Our 6 company divisions involve businesses from different sectors like energy, real estate, bank and persons, so management of data can be tricky.”Said Jesus.

Vinchin Backup & Recovery has the monitor center for intensive management of jobs’ basic information and status.“Here we can have an overview of the jobs created and their processes. For a comprehensive and fast backup of the XenServer VMs, Vinchin lists full backup, CBT-driven incremental backup and differential backup through LAN-Free transit for zero bandwidth consumption and quick data backup. INVEX chose CBT-driven incremental backup on daily basis and weekly full backup under pre-set backup schedule for the overall backup strategy. CBT (Changed Block Tracking) identifies changes on block level and backs up only changed disk blocks since the last backup for quicker backup and smaller size of backup data.
Vinchin Backup & Recovery provides onsite/offsite backup copies, the former is used to restore data when the original backups are destroyed or damaged, and the latter allows INVEX to build an DR center by recovering XenServer backups to a remote site for disaster recovery. If the primary and onsite backups both fail, the offsite copies could step in.
